Definitions

• “TicketsMate” / “We” / “Our” - Refers to Tickets Mate (ABN: 17 428 077 903), the platform providing online event listing and ticketing services.
• “User” / “You” - Refers to any individual or entity accessing our site, browsing events, or purchasing tickets.
• “Event Organiser” - Refers to the individual or organisation responsible for hosting and managing an event listed on our platform.
• “Event” - Refers to any activity, gathering, concert, festival, or program listed on our platform.
• “Ticket” - Refers to the proof of purchase and entry (digital or otherwise) issued for an Event.
• “Services” - Refers to the features, technology, and support provided by Tickets Mate to Users and Event Organisers.

1. About Us

TicketsMate lists and promotes events taking place across Australia. In some cases, we facilitate ticket sales; in others, we act as a promoter only, free of charge. Listings may denote whether tickets are sold on our platform or available elsewhere with external links.

2. Platform and Services

• Event listings only: For events where we do not sell tickets, we explicitly indicate this and link to external sellers.
• Ticketing services: Available only when an Event Organiser signs a contract with us. Upon agreement, we facilitate ticket sales directly on our platform.

3. Fees & Payment

For ticket sales arranged via Tickets Mate:

• Buyer fee: $0.60 per ticket (covers card charges, taxes, service fee).
• Organiser payout fee: 2.5% of ticket sale revenue.

4. Ticket Purchases

• Digital tickets with QR codes will be issued upon purchase and must be presented at the event entrance.
• All purchases are final unless otherwise stated by the Event Organiser in their event-specific terms.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

• Refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are at the Event Organiser’s discretion and governed by their event-specific terms.
• Tickets Mate is not responsible for issuing refunds unless explicitly authorised.

6. Event Organiser’s Responsibility

• Each Event Organiser holds full responsibility for the event’s execution, including refunds, safety, program, communication, and attendee management.
• We clearly indicate on events where we do not manage ticketing.

7. Liability

• Tickets Mate is not liable for any losses, injuries, or inconvenience related to attending an event.
• Our liability is limited strictly to providing a ticketing/promotional platform.

8. User Obligations

• You agree to provide accurate information during the purchase or registration process.
• Misuse of the platform may result in ticket cancellation without refund.

9. Privacy

Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be effective upon publication.

11. Governing Law
